
Jonathan Winter is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) practitioner.
Having entered the financial services industry in 2002, Jon has built a clientele of families and both active and retired individuals from varied fields of work. His practice focuses on the advantages of fee-based asset management, in which you pay a fee based on your assets invested under management versus paying a commission on each transaction placed. He works closely with each client to develop a personalized plan.
He graduated from the Marshall School of Business at USC with honors with a degree in Business Administration and emphasis in Investments and Financial Markets.
As well, Jon completed the nationally recognized PFP (Personal Financial Planning) curriculum at UCLA, where he graduated with distinction from the accelerated program.
He previously served on the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association Los Angeles chapter, where he was Director of Government Relations. He is also a member in good standing of the Market Technicians Association.
He created and taught a class called " Practical Applications of Investment Theory ," at UCLA Extension.
Jon has also been active in the community and was a volunteer with the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society at Camp Pendleton, where he provided pro-bono financial counseling to service-members and their families.
